This model kit showcases the cutting-edge F-35B Lightning II variant in a stunning 1/48 scale from our famous Aircraft Series. Developed as part of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, this aircraft combines multiple functions in its design and comes in three variations: the F-35A conventional take-off and landing (CTOL) aircraft, the F-35B short take-off, vertical landing (STOVL), and the F-35C carrier take-off and landing (CV). The F-35B is the successor to the AV-8B Harrier II and is renowned for its supersonic flight capabilities and STOVL technology, making it a highly sought-after aircraft by the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and other nations like Italy and Japan. 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit.
The model can be put together in one of the following three ways; Parked, Short take-off, and
Vertical landing.
This kit can be assembled with one choice of three ordnance patterns stealth mode, air-to-air mode, and beast mode.
The lift fan depicted with ergonomic parts breakdown is integrated with nose landing gear bay. The inside fan shape is realistically rendered.
The variable vane under lift fan can be depicted at different angles.
Shorter fuselage weapon bays compared to the F-35A are newly moulded and have detailed depictions of cables.
